I am a Kent based photographer and I provide a professional service, combining enthusiasm for photography with the ability to produce natural and contemporary images. When photographing weddings, it is a privilege to play a part in capturing those special moments and creating a lasting memory to be cherished forever. My wife Karen joins me at events to assist, taking additional photographs. She was a Registrar in Kent for over ten years and married literally hundreds of couples. We have four grown up children and four grandchildren.
I grew up surrounded by family members equally passionate about photography and I cannot remember a time when it was not an important part of my life. I bought my first camera at 13 and I've spent the following decades developing my skills both photographically and also in digital image editing. I particularly enjoy landscape and nature photography.
I am a member of Ashford Photographic Society and have had success in local competitions (Ashford & Kent) and acceptances into National exhibitions (British Photographic Exhibitions). I have achieved the Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society, a distinction that is recognised as a measure of achievement throughout the world. An article about my panel of photographs, shown below, was subsequently published in The Royal Photographic Society's magazine 'The Journal' which is the world's oldest photography magazine.
